West Leeds Scout District is one of 8 Districts within Central Yorkshire Scout County. The county covers the metropolitan areas of Leeds and Wakefield.  

West Leeds District covers: Armley, Bramley, Calverley, Farnley, New Farnley, Farsley, Pudsey, Rodley, Stanningley, Wortley.

There are 14 Scout Groups, providing local scouting for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, aged 6 to 14.  Explorer Scouts are aged 14 to 18 and are run at District level. There are 4 Units, including a Young Leaders Training Unit. Click here to find about the Groups and Units in the District.

In addition to the programmes provided within sections, the District runs a programme for all sections.

West Leeds runs a Scout shop at its District Headquarters.  It is the only official supplier of uniforms and neckerchiefs for all sections in Central Yorkshire. The shop is open Fridays 5.30pm to 7.00pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 12.30pm then 1.30pm to 4.00pm. More information is available on the Scout Shop page .
