Hello there and welcome to the all-new cub pages on the West Leeds Scout District website!

Cub Scouts are young people (both male and female) who are aged between eight and ten and a half. They join in a wide range of activities such as camping, archery, sailing, 5-a-side football, abseiling, caving, walking and much, MUCH more!

The Cub Scout Promise, Law, and Motto

Our promise is:
I promise that I will my do best,
To do my duty to God and to the Queen,
To help other people,
And to keep the Cub Scout Law.

The Cub Scout Law is...
Cub Scouts always do their best,
Think of others before themselves,
And do a good turn every day.

Our motto is Be Prepared!

Building on the basics in Scouting learnt from Beaver Scouts, and also preparing for a future in Scouts, young people in the Cub Scout section are in the second section out of a possible five in the 6-25 programme.
