			<title>Fellowship Springwatch</title>

			<description>Our District Scout Fellowship have now moved in to their season of outdoor activites, having successfully completed an excellent indoor activity of 10 pin bowling in March, and the Fellowship AGM in April.The first of these outdoor activities is on Tuesday 12th May, when the Fellowship have arranged another of their popular city walks. This one is called &amp;ldquo;Eastenders&amp;rdquo; and is a two hour guided tour of the &amp;ldquo;Mabgate&amp;rdquo; area of Leeds, starting from the Corn Exchange at 7pm.Tuesday 16th June is crown green bowling night, at the very friendly venue of New Wortley Park, where everyone should meet at 6:45pm. 			<description>If you attended the home contact training night on Thursday 22nd January, then you&amp;#39;ll know a little bit about some of the benefits that being a member of the website gives.Leaders can add articles to their group&amp;#39;s news page, add events to their group&amp;#39;s calendar (coming soon), edit their group&amp;#39;s page and soon we&amp;#39;ll be putting an online version of the district yearbook. For those in the Explorer Scout section, you can add news to the Explorer Scout News (index.php?option=com_content task=blogcategory id=0 Itemid=82)  and Events (index.php?option=com_events Itemid=163)  pages respectively. 			<description>As of 1st April, Christine Marshall is standing down as DESC (District Explorer Scout Commissioner). Thanks to Christine for all her hard work over the last busy year. Taking over the reigns is Ian Page, who takes up the role with immediate effect. Ian is a former ADC in the Leeds Templars District and many people will already know him from the county centenary camp, Tree Stomp, or canoeing at Aldwark Activity Centre. 			<title>New Explorer Unit Now Open!</title>

			<description>A new Explorer Unit (name to be decided) based at St Thomas&amp;#39; Church Hall in Stanningley is now up and running. It runs each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month between 8pm and 9:30pm. A partnership agreement is in place between the unit and the 1st Stanningley group.
